Master Class in Advanced Anatomy, Ultrasound Imaging and Procedural Techniques
Venue: King’s College London Guy’s Campus, Great Maze Pond, London SE1 1UL, United Kingdom
CPD-Accredited
Time: 9:00 to 17:30
This outstanding, full-day workshop packed with fundamental and advanced topics on facial anatomy and procedural safety is tailor-made for plastic surgeons, dermatologists and other aesthetic practitioners (including Masters students and others in academic aesthetic training) with an interest in injectables, threads, devices and other minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
Learn from SEASON’s global experts on key topics including updates on fillers, botulinum toxins, threads, lasers and fat grafting. Experience first-hand the newest advancements in cosmetic procedures designed specifically to suit the needs of doctors and patients in the UK and internationally, with a focus on emerging techniques and avoidance of complications.
The unique format of this workshop integrates world-class anatomical teaching with panel discussions and high-resolution video demonstrations of procedures. The anatomical dissections are specifically designed for injectables, threads and other non-surgical procedures, including demonstrations to reveal the target tissue planes for different facial zones, and in-situ models for procedural complications. The special “Anatomy on Demand” feature allows delegates to maximize their learning experience in real time by requesting immediate and specific anatomical demonstrations to enhance their learning.
Attendance at the master class is limited to ensure direct interaction with the anatomical and clinical faculty. Four options for attendance are available:
- Option 1: Hands-on, small-group advanced anatomical training offers you the unique opportunity to learn directly from the expert anatomical faculty in the dissection room, to request individualized teaching, and to participate yourself in the cadaver dissections. You will view integrated video demonstrations from the clinical faculty in the lecture hall via live broadcast. You will also have the chance during or after the course to visit the renowned Gordon Museum of Pathology, which connects to our dissection room. Complementary lunch & refreshments will be provided.
- Option 2: Live broadcast to the on-site lecture theatre at Guy’s Hospital, of cadaver anatomy straight from the dissection room. You can interact directly in real time with the expert anatomical faculty to request individualized demonstrations and sharing of knowledge to fulfil your specific educational needs. You will see integrated video demonstrations from the clinical faculty in the lecture hall, and have the opportunity to visit the Gordon Museum of Pathology at the end of the course. Complementary lunch & refreshments will be provided.
